Learn

Spanish, Serbian, German, or French

in 3–6 months for your next journey

Do you have a trip to Latin America, Spain, the Balkans, Germany, or Francophone Africa coming up and would like to speak the local language by then – but you're not sure if that's even possible?

If you have 15–60 minutes a day for the next 3–6 months

…then you're perfectly set up to learn Spanish, German, Serbian, or French to be travel-ready in time – even if you're a total language-learning newbie or have no prior knowledge in your target language.

Because I’ve personally spent over 10 years learning languages to travel, work, and live abroad, testing countless methods so you don’t have to.

Along the way, I discovered what most courses and apps get wrong:

Along the way, I discovered what most courses and apps get wrong:

Language learning isn’t one-size-fits-all.

After learning over six foreign languages, I’ve tried just about everything – and learned one thing above all:
what doesn’t work.
I discovered that most apps and language courses fall short because of these four things:

Irrelevant Content

Many language learning apps teach you words and phrases you’ll never use, instead of getting you ready for real conversations.

Human vs. AI

In apps, you don’t practice with real people – however, it's real conversations that build confidence.

Lack of Consistency

Your brain only locks in a language when you use it regularly, and that's why it's not enough to visit a language course once a week.

Unstable Foundations

You learn common phrases – but can’t remember them because you don’t understand the structure behind them.

And that's frustrating.

Because if your practice isn’t consistent and effective, you’re wasting time and mental energy without seeing progress. And that’s when you lose motivation – and start believing you’re just not made for languages

But let me tell you: There's a better way to learn languages.

And that's why I've got something for you.

Travel

Everything I’ve learned from 13+ years and 6 languages,
so you can become travel-ready in 3–6 months
with just 15–60 minutes a day.

Of course, 3–6 months are not enough to teach you everything an interpreter learns in 10 years. But the good news is that that’s not necessary, because for traveling, you only need a number of these skills.

And if you focus on what truly matters during that time, using methods that work for you and that you enjoy, you can make great progress and soon be able to:

Use the Local Language

Engage with locals on equal footing, whether you’re ordering, asking for directions, or negotiating – all in their language, without switching to English.

Travel Beneath the Surface

Language opens doors to conversations, connections, and experiences. Experience your target country from the inside instead of just being an observer.

Speak Confidently

Especially as a woman, the way you approach people makes a huge difference. When you speak and understand the local language, you feel more confident and at ease.

This is how I will guide to towards your goal in 3–6 months

These are the elements that help you learn your target language faster than you think:

The Basics

The basics are the framework of a language: once you’ve got them down, everything else comes much more easily.

Authentic Input

Learn a language the way it’s actually spoken on the street – not the way a textbook tells you it should be.

Real Interactions

Confidence is a skill that can be honed by practicing real conversations with real people, rather than relying on apps or ChatGPT.

Consistency & Flow

Learning a language is like working out: consistency is everything. A little practice every day is far more effective than a five-hour study session twice a month.

Your Teacher

Hi, I'm Annika!

I’m a state-certified interpreter – which means that I have really honed my languages both through my education and through my daily work. I primarily interpret in legal settings such as asylum hearings, court proceedings, and correctional facilities, but also in psychiatric institutions and many other contexts. Most of the people I interpret for come from Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico, Serbia, or Croatia.

I've trevelled to +50 countries, have lived in Ecuador, Uruguay and Serbia, but also spend a decent amount of time travelling West Africa. In doing so, I’ve always learned each language with the intention of quickly finding my feet in a new country, connecting with people, and having a deeper, more meaningful travel experience.
